Petti-pleasure

Parcels! Just wonderful... especially when they contain such delicious pleasures as these.

I wasn't sure about this colour at first - in real life its more orange - but I'm wearing it today peeking out from under a navy dress and it's just lovely.

I also chose good old basic black. Boring perhaps but useful and lovely. These petticoats are so soft and so perfectly on the knee that I was curious to look up their maker, Sam.

Sam has a huge range but, sadly, sells only wholesale. Here are some delights. Apparently you describe petticoats by the yard and have lots and lots of yards, as many as 70!

Hi Low Shoes

Yesterday I bought some lovely velvet sandals from Wittner. Deliciously pretty. Deliciously comfortable. The luxe factor of the velvet lifting the, from boring black shoe-dom.

 They manage to be forties and seventies at he same time!

I love this high low trend. I alos came across these lovely shoes from modcloth.

These wedges are also pretty cute... but which to choose the tangerine or the yellow?

Magical Skirt

This swirling magical skirt deserves a post of its own. I almost bought it at the eshakti sale and it disappeared but now its back

Legs

Thank heavens for legs, they carry us around and help us frog kick down the pool.

This is from Eliza Parker. I love how it flares out! It comes in black, charcoal and camel and it's the camel who has my heart.

Ik Ben Elka also have some lovely jackets. I love how cropped they are. This one is a little Julia Gillard...

are also very good for  a jacket.

This raspberry jacket is definitely one I'd wear. I love the ruched sleeves... feminine and hardworking!

It's American I know but there's something seductive about a closet. Who can forget the scene in the Sex in the City movie where Carrie sees her dream closet...
